Starting with slow, ambient soundscapes and suspended vocal samples, 'Matter' quickly builds into a bass-heavy beast of a track. As always, LAIRE's consistent ability to build flawless transitions and clean percussion is present. Layered above that is a wide range of spacey, organic effects and full-sounding synths that only enrich the listening experience.
Coming in strong with harmonious chords and a simple, yet clever melody , 'Matter' certainly hits home.
